• The National Maritime Museum – one of the Royal Museums Greenwich,
the world’s largest maritime museum, opened to the public by King George VI in April 1937;
• The Painted Hall of the Old Royal Naval College – called the “Sistine Chapel of Great Britain”, it is the most significant interior decorated with paintings in the country, 3,700 square meters of decorative painting in the Baroque style;
• The Chapel of Sts Peter and Paul – built in the late 18th century, is an example of neoclassical English Baroque, serves as an active place of worship with a regular Sunday service;
• Trafalgar Tavern – the tavern opened in 1837 and was described by the writer Charles Dickens in his work “Our Mutual Friend”, until 1883 it was a place of political meetings;
• Statue of Admiral Horace Nelson – the memorial was commissioned by the Trafalgar Tavern to celebrate the bicentenary of the victory in the Battle of Trafalgar;
• Old Royal Naval College – an architectural pearl of Greenwich, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Initially, it was built as a palace – to replace the palace of Edward I destroyed during the English Revolution, but by decree of Queen Mary II it was transferred to the Royal Naval Hospital, and since 1873 the architectural ensemble has been at the disposal of the Royal Naval College.
• Clipper “Cutty Sark” – the only surviving three-masted composite sailing clipper of the 19th century;
• Greenwich Market – Covered market founded in 1737. One of the oldest in London.
