– You will have a fascinating tour of the historical part of Rome with a visit to the Aventine Hill. I will show you the famous sights of the historical center, as well as unique places on one of the seven hills of the Eternal City.
– We will walk along the famous streets, stroll through the Spanish Steps, look at the Trevi Fountain, see the only pagan temple in Rome – the Pantheon, where the great Raphael Santi rests.
– I will give a tour of the Capitoline Hill, built according to the design of Michelangelo. Harmony reigns here and the first museums in the world are located.
– Then we will go to the most beautiful and picturesque of the seven Roman hills – the Aventine – with its ancient churches, beautiful gardens and the best panoramas of Rome.
– On the Aventine Hill, I will show you ancient temples, the Theater of Marcellus and the Church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin or “Mouth of Truth”. I will take you to the “Holy Aperture”, looking through which you can see three states at once. We will go down to the Circus Maximus, which was called one of the three best buildings of Ancient Rome.
Important to know:
– The tour is entirely on foot, do not forget to wear comfortable shoes and take a hat.
