Uplistsikhe is an important monument of Georgian culture, since its unique structure has allowed the preservation of buildings dating back to the 2nd-1st millennium BC. Some parts of the city remain unexplored to this day.
Gori is one of the oldest cities in Georgia. In the middle of the city rises a majestic hill with a fortress – Goris-tsikhe. Despite the fact that the fortress is well preserved, the date of its foundation is still debated.
