What to expect:
– You will travel through the most interesting sights of Georgia, which can be visited from Tbilisi. In comfortable transport, you will visit Borjomi, a famous health resort and national park; walk through Gori, Stalin’s birthplace and a cozy ancient town; and also see a cave city that existed several thousand years ago.
– In Borjomi, you can properly relax in the fresh mountain air. Here everyone will find something interesting: bathing in sulfur baths, horseback riding, a picnic in nature, a cable car, Kharagauli Park with beautiful nature, a mineral water park and much, much more.
– A walk around Gori will tell you more about the famous Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. You will see the politician’s home, which has survived to this day; visit a museum in his honor, where items belonging to Stalin are collected. Also look at the armored personal carriage in which he made business trips. Household items and luxury items of that time are on display inside.
– Gori is one of the oldest Georgian cities, a special atmosphere and culture have been preserved here. You can walk around the Goristsikhe fortress, where you will learn more about the history of Georgia.
– In the ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe, you will take a walk around an architectural monument of pagan times. People lived here from the end of the 2nd millennium BC until the early Christians began to wage war with them. About 150 caves out of 700 have survived to this day. A whole pantheon of pagan gods was created here, where a separate structure was built for each of them. A walk around such a cultural monument will not leave anyone indifferent.
