Transfer and old town

Saturday adventure
After a hearty breakfast with the famous khachapuri and other dishes of national cuisine, you will go on a tour of Tbilisi. Ancient sights, cultural monuments await you and you will hear amazing stories from the guide. You will also take part in a tasting in a wine shop, which will give you an extra boost of energy.
After getting to know Tbilisi, you will go on a tour of the ancient lands of Georgia. You will visit the first capital – Mtskheta, a city with a history of 2.5 thousand years. Here you will find the 11th century religious shrine Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and the ancient 4th century Samtavro Monastery.
After visiting them, you will go to the 6th century Jvari Monastery, located on a mountain top at the confluence of the Kura and Aragvi rivers. Here you will meet the sunset and take atmospheric photos against the backdrop of the mountains, and then go back to the hotel.
Cheese, wine and souvenirs
Sunday will begin with a delicious and hearty breakfast, after which the driver will take you to souvenir shops or colorful markets. You can bring a lot of interesting gifts from Georgia. Do not forget to grab wine, nuts, cheese and other gifts of this sunny country. After shopping, you will be taken by a comfortable transfer back to the airport, and you will fly home until your next meeting with Georgia.
